LEE DOUGLASS
LEE DOUGLASS is a writer/director, filmmaker and theater artist. She has been involved in the performing arts since childhood. Her professional life started in dance and acting and grew into filmmaking, directing and writing. She has several films to her credit including the award winning Birdboy and has worked as writer/director on many projects: promos both live action and animation, documentaries and narratives. Lee has penned numerous screenplays including collaborating with Nick Colt on the screenplay of his stage production of Kidnap Girl. Her commissioned screenplay, Kingdom by the Sea, is in development with Axial Pictures in Los Angeles. She has performed in and choreographed for operatic productions such as La Traviata, Pagliacia, The Merry Widow. She has written and directed her original works as well as the work of other playwrights' in the theatre. One of her more recent productions is Jyoen, a Japanese operetta which was the recipient of the Creative Engagement Grant from LMCC and the Arts Grant from Japan Foundation and was performed at the Frank Shiner Theatre at the Sheen Center, NYC. Currently, she is collaborating with Nick Colt on The Elvis Presley Game Show, a new musical. And beginning work on The Lear Sisters, a deconstruction of the Shakespeare play.

NICK COLT
I
NICK COLT has been involved in the Off, Off-Broadway scene for years. He started as a piano player in a Basementworks/Tribeca Lab Friday night review, hosted by Al Ramos. Since then, he has written the book, lyrics and music for four showcase/workshop level musicals which have been produced in New York and Chicago, including “The Hermit Encounters”, “Tripatica’s Puppet Box”, “Kidnap Girl” and “Birdy & the Golden Putter”. He recently collaborated with Lee Douglass on a screenplay of “Kidnap Girl” and a new musical “The Elvis Presley Game Show”. He currently is working on a musical “The Inventor’s Nightmare” with Brian McDonald and “Flea Market Follies” with Jed Zion. In his work, he has utilized a variety of media, such as puppetry, masks, video projection and avant-garde sound design. As a gigging musician on piano and keyboards Nick has enjoyed success as Musical Director for “Pilates, the Musical” and with The Burlesque Troubadours, White Collar Crime, Hooch, The Mercantillers, The Cabinetmakers, The Night Breakers and The Eagle Colt Jazz Combo. He has also written and produced three short films.
